Narrative

This is a narrative of the various sessions that we have had, hopefully maintained by players. Several sessions were run on a monthly basis between September 2005 and March 2006 before the game was picked up again in September 2006. This means that the first half dozen sessions or so are largely undocumented.

The rough rule of thumb is that we meet on the first Tuesday of the month. However we often rearrange to suit other events in life. The next few sessions are as follows:

	* 9 January 2007
	* 6 February 2007
	* 6 March 2007
	* 10 April 2007

Discoveries in the Basement

As well as the Tunnels a number of crates dating from the end of
the war were found in the basement. These crates were all labelled up as containing blankets and on first inspection they did indeed all have blankets in them when the lids were opened.

The centre of the stories.

A reasonably high class club aimed at officers and senior officials (and anyone else with money to spare) looking for a good time. The clientele is fairly diverse in terms that there are Brits, French, US and Germans. There is even the ocasional Soviet officer seen (although usually not in uniform).

Tunnels

While searching around in the basement of the The Golden Gate the team found an old iron door that was inscribed with a crest from the time of the Kaisers.

This door lead onto a tunnel that formed part of the sewer system of Berlin. On the side of the tunnel there was a walkway that had obviously been deliberately constructed to allow people to move about underground.

Herman Wolfe

Herman Wolfe was captured by the staff of the The Golden Gate on the night of 4 June 1953 in a cellar a couple of streets away from the club. Following his capture he was brought back to the The Golden Gate and questioned by Marian, Jeb, John and Gustav. George was also present but didn't play a large part in the interrogation.
